Payment, Shipping & Returns Policy

SHIPPING & RETURNS

All of my products are handmade in Germany. I handle all inquiries case-by-case basis to offer a personal and tailored service. My ultimate goal is to make our customers happy. I'm a small business that makes handmade goods inspected to guarantee a 100% customer satisfaction rate. I treat each request fairly, respectfully, and reasonably with the trust that our customers will do the same.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

As a small business, unfortunately, I cannot accept returns or exchanges. However, if you have any product issues, please get in touch with me at ilgufohandmade@gmail.com, and I can find a solution. We are always here for you and happy to help!

DEFECTS

​

I check the quality before each shipment to ensure the products are defect-free. However, if it doesn't match expectations and you have received a defective product, please contact me at ilgufohandmade@gmail.com with your order number and pictures of the defective product so I can find a solution.

DELIVERY TIMES

​

Because each item is crafted with care, delivery times depend on the product type and the shipping destination.

1. Delivery Times by Product Type

  • Finished Bag (in stock): can directly be send.

  • Bag Kit (in stock): approx. 2 weeks of preparation.

  • Bag Kit “Made to Order”: requires a 50 % deposit at the time of order. Delivery is approx. 1 month of preparation from receipt of the deposit.

First-come, first-served: All orders are fulfilled in the order they are received. During peak demand, delivery times may be slightly longer.

2. Shipping Destinations & Estimated Transit Times

  • Germany: 3-5 business days.

  • European Union (EU): 5–10 business days.

  • Non-EU Europe (e.g., Switzerland, UK): 7–14 business days.

  • Worldwide: 10–20 business days, depending on local customs processing.

These transit times are in addition to the preparation/production times listed in section 1.

After the package is passed onto the shipment provider, I have no control over the delivery times. I'm not responsible for the following:

Mistakes made by the shipping provider.

Mistakes in the delivery addresses provided by the customers.

Damage to orders by the shipment providerStolen packages.

SHIPPING COSTS

  • Germany: Flat rate €X (insert your rate).

  • EU countries: From €Y (calculated at checkout based on weight).

  • Worldwide: From €Z (calculated at checkout).
    Any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees outside Germany are the buyer’s responsibility.
     

PAYMENT

I offer several secure payment methods so you can choose what works best for you:

  • For all orders (Germany & International):

    • Credit/Debit Cards – Visa, Mastercard

    • Bank Transfer - Payment in advance to my bank account

    • PayPal – Pay easily and securely with your PayPal account

  • For “Made to Order” kits, a 50 % deposit is due at checkout; the balance is payable before shipping.

  • Other products require full payment at checkout.
